  • There is East Hillsborough county where Brandon, Valrico, Riverview, Apollo beach, Ruskin, Plant City is...can be cheaper to live here, more newer homes, not urban like Tampa, more suburban, very popular family area, closer to Sun City Center and Sarasota....

  • There is Pinellas County where the beaches are--Clearwater, St. Pete, Dunedin, Safety Harbor, and Tarpon Springs....mostly older homes, less land, more tightly populated, more in the flood zones....

  • There is Pasco County where Land o Lakes, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, New Port Richey, Trinity are

  • Farther north there is Hernando County where Brooksville, Spring Hill, Weeki Wachee are...cheaper, more land, and 1 1/4 hr from Tampa airport....

  • To the east of Tampa Bay is Polk County where Lakeland, Winter Haven are....cheaper, straight south and closest to Orlando, growing area and potential long term investment growth because of transit rail from Orlando being considered.....major growth area...more land...lots of new shopping...taxes can be a little cheaper.
